    Duties & Responsibilities

    As our Front Desk & HR Admin you will be responsible for the following:

    • Efficiently manage all incoming phone lines.
    • Ensure filing, scanning and clerical duties are up to date.
    • Maintain Human Resources records and support administration of general HR initiatives.
    • Participate in HR projects (Employee Relations, Payroll, Recruitment, L&D), if and when required.
    • Manage the ordering, inventory and production of learning related materials and tools.
    • Update and communicate the quarterly training calendar.
    • Order office supplies within reasonable cost; maintain an inventory of supplies.
    • Prepare and receive all incoming and outgoing mail.
    • Book meeting rooms, travel and arrange catering for special meetings as required.
    • Maintain reception area in clean and presentable order.
    • Ensure all printers and fax machine have a supply of paper and toner.
    • Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
    • Support restocking and maintaining kitchen area in good order.
    • Coordinates ordering of new name plates, H-cards, and other supplies as necessary to support on-boarding.
    • Effectively train back up support of all administrative duties and maintain the supporting position reference guide.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma required.
    • Post-secondary education in a related field strongly preferred (i.e. Business Administration or Human Resources).
    • Minimum 3 years customer service experience, preferably in hospitality environment.
    • 2 years’ experience in an office environment.
    • Strong competence with office productivity software (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with internet tools.
    • Excellent oral/written communication skills.
    • Keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and deadlines.
