    Duties & Responsibilities

    As a Field Training Manager you will be responsible for the following:

    • Lead team of Field Training Specialist, including scheduling, development and coaching.
    • Develop and establish training objectives and standards consistent with operational goal.s.
    • Develop and execute training plans to support new restaurant openings, renovations, initiative rollouts and related projects.
    • Develop, coordinate, evaluate and refine curriculum, training outlines, and specific reference materials.
    • Manage all aspects of the delivery of training programs related to specific operational projects.
    • Serves as a resource to cross functional teams in the identification and resolution of training gaps.
    • Initiate, co-ordinate, and execute continuous improvement programs.
    • Support the onboarding process of new restaurant management.
    • Align field training with concept and companywide priorities.
    • Develop and communicate project plans and schedules in conjunction with special projects.
    • Partner with cross functional teams to identify and action business needs.
    • Conduct post project analysis with a focus on increased productivity and effectiveness.
    • Provide targeted operational support as required.
    • Provide insights to operations leadership and functional groups.
    • 90% of time spent in the field.


    • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma required (preferably in Business, Hospitality or other related field).
    • Experience developing, delivering, and facilitating tactical training programs.
    • Minimum 3 years experience managing a team.  
    • Professional presence, technical credibility and engaging presentation style.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple cross functional projects and teams.
    • Ability to continuously promote a learning culture.
    • High level of comfort within the restaurant environment.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit, strive for excellence and innovation.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to adapt to interact professionally with diverse group of partners (vendors, team members, managers, directors, etc.).
    • Able to drive decision making process with diplomacy and enthusiasm while maintaining effective working relationships.
    • Excellent time management skills, able to effectively organize tasks and control project scope.
    • Thrives in fast-paced, constantly changing environment – able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
