Duties & Responsibilities

As a Bar Manager for Edna Vita you will be responsible for the following:

  • Achieving and/or exceeding daily sales projections.
  • Demonstrating strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills across all operational areas.
  • Performing weekly inventory in accordance with company standards.
  • Take charge of creating weekly schedules for the Bar team that align with the business needs as directed by the General Manager.
  • Attention to detail around general cleanliness and operation of bars.
  • Helping Assistant General Manager (as needed) in direction of beverage program.
  • Meeting and maintaining accountability and profitability of specific areas as determined by operating standards.
  • Providing ongoing training, motivating and monitoring of staff and the development of people.
  • Showcase your exceptional time management skills and keen attention to detail in all aspects of your role.

Qualifications

  • If you have 1-3 years of prior restaurant management/supervisory experience in a similar environment, we want to hear from you.
  • Experience in a bar manager role is highly desirable for this position.
  • Prud'homme and/or Cicerone training an asset.
  • Dedicated to meeting high standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; College/University course work preferred.
  • Must have Smart Serve Certification to be considered for this position.
  • Proficient in English verbal and written communication and possess great interpersonal skills. Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
  • Ability to manage sales goals, inventory, cash.
  • Numerical understanding, basic math skills, problem solving and analytical skills.
