Duties & Responsibilities

  • Acts as an advisor with business leaders and operates in alignment with HR leaders; proactively develops learning and development solutions that align with business and HR strategy and objectives.
  • Designs and develops engaging learning solutions (including eLearning, job aids, videos, course manuals, assessments, etc.) that ensure an integrated and consistent learning approach is delivered to our Team Members.
  • Participates in corporate projects and initiatives, as it relates to identifying performance outcomes and recommending learning experiences and resources.
  • Facilitates workshops, training sessions, and experiential learning events (both in-person and virtual).
  • Coordinates the scheduling and enrollment for instructor-led training while managing vendor relations and monitoring costs
  • Oversees company’s Learning Management System by deploying and managing new content, providing training to leaders with administrative access, managing security settings and hierarchies, and supporting learner access in the system.
  • Evaluates program and learning effectiveness using feedback, data and performance outcomes.
  • Defines launch strategy and owns communication strategy for learning solutions.
  • Presents data to business stakeholders on training impact through dashboards and insights.Makes informed recommendations on learning experience based on learner feedback and strategic priorities.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Certificate in Adult Education preferred but not required.
  • CTDP or CHRP Certification preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 3 years learning & development experience.
  • Bilingual (English and French) an asset.
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline/Rise or a similar e-learning authoring tool required.
  • Experience with Axonify LMS an asset.
  • Ability to synthesize multiple inputs into key insights which result in actions that achieve desired business results.
  • Comfortable facilitating learning sessions of varying sizes and formats.
  • Ability to design innovative and effective learning solutions for various audiences within the organization.
  • Practical knowledge of learning theory, cutting edge research, and other learning trends.
  • History of strong partnership and collaboration across team and organizational boundaries; able to accomplish goals in a matrixed environment.
  • Analytical thinker with a passion for empowering others through creative and engaging learning.
  • Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
